• Click the Name contains radio button and enter any combination of first, middle, and/or last name. Or click the Start of last name radio button and enter as much as you know of the last name only.

• Contemporary Authors Cumulative Index is located in the First Floor reference area at the call number 920 C76 Index. (At the end of where the Contemporary Authors Series is shelved in the reference area.)
• This index contains references to all series titles listed on the Titles, Descriptions & Locations page with the exception of the Literature in Its Time series.
• Entries are arranged alphabetically by author's last name.
• In the entries, series titles are abbreviated. Find the full name of each series by using the guide at the beginning of each index volume or use the Titles, Descriptions & Locations page.
• Use a library catalog title search or the Titles, Descriptions & Locations page to find the call number and location of the series in Owens Library. (Owens Library does not own every series found in the index.)
• Author articles within each volume of a series are arranged alphabetically.

Literature Criticism Cumulative Author Index

• At the end of each volume of the Gale Literature Criticism Series (BLC, CLC, DC, HLC, NCLC, NNAL, PC, TCLC) there is a Literary Criticism Series Cumulative Author Index. (To ensure you find the most current information possible, use the last volume of the series.)
• Entries are arranged alphabetical by author's last name.
• Find the full name of each series included in the entry by using the guide at the beginning of the index or use the Titles, Descriptions & Locations page.
• Use the library catalog or the Titles, Descriptions & Locations page to find the call number and location of the series in Owens Library. (Owens Library does not own every series referred in each cumulative index.)

For Students Cumulative Author/Title Index

• At the end of each volume of the Gale For Students Series ( DFS, NFS, PFS, SFS) there is a Cumulative Author/Title Index. These indexes only refer to a single series. The Short Stories For Students Cumulative Author/Title Index for instance only makes reference to volumes in the Short Stories For Students series. (To ensure you find the most current information possible, use the last volume of the series.)
• Entries are arranged alphabetically by author's last name and name of work. Author names and named works are integrated.
• Entries list articles about individual works written by the author. Each article about a work contains a biographical section about the author.
