Find Lesson Plans With ERIC

  • Go to the Search for Articles page, click on the letter "E" and click on ERIC Simple Search.
  • Enter a search in the search form.
  • Note the searching instructions in the paragraph below the search form with the opening sentence, "We use the Webscript search engine."
  • A search that would be appropriate is:
    (health, nutrition) "lesson plan*" "elementary education"

  • Go to Yahoo! and type in lesson plans or be more specific by adding another word or phrase to the search such as health lesson plans.
  • Try searching with other Web directories listed on the Search the Internet page.

  • Enter a keyword search in the search form.

  • Choose a search engine from the Search the Internet page and construct a search for health lesson plans.
  • If you do not know how to build a search in a particular search engine look at the Search Engines Features chart.
  • For instance, a search that would be appropriate in AltaVista Advanced Search looks like this:
    (health or nutrition or wellness) and "lesson plan*"
