lists items available in Owens Library or Horace Mann Library including books,
periodicals, microforms, government documents, teaching materials, research
papers, field studies, and videos. (Adult and childrens' reading level materials
are listed in the catalog.)
Helpful
hints for searching the Library Catalog:
- When searching by
author, use last name then first name of the author.
- When entering terms,
leave off all punctuation and capital letters.
If
you don't find what you are looking for in the Northwest Library Catalog,
you can also search the MOBIUS catalog to locate and borrow books from more
than fifty libraries within the state of Missouri.

Truncation
allows users to stem words or retrieve root words with several endings. The
truncation symbol in many databases is an asterisk (*). The search shown below
will locate records that include the words read, reading, readable, etc.
