2. Subject Indexes

  • Is your topic in a particular subject area?

If so, use a subject index. Subject indexes specialize in a particular subject, and the articles indexed are generally from scholarly sources. Examples of subject indexes and the kinds of articles they identify are:

Indexes articles in world history
[ LexisNexis ]
LexisNexis - Academic Universe Business indexes and provides full text to articles dealing with business information including financial reviews, market research, industry reports, etc.
