Full Text

The complete electronic text of an article is called the full text. Some databases, like EBSCOhost and Gale, provide entire articles online. Indexes that offer full text articles will have symbols next to them. For example:

What if there are pictures or graphs with the article that you want to see?

To find pictures originally published with the article, you sometimes need to get the print copy from the library. There are a few databases that provide full content. Full content includes the article plus any graphs, charts, pictures and text.
