This guide includes local modifications addressing Northwest
faculty preferences.
See Note for further details.
Please note:
This page follows
the citation style of Kate L. Turabian's A Manual for Writers of Term
Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, 6th ed. and The Chicago Manual
of Style, 15th ed., except that the full-text examples include the
name of the vendor, database, and the path for accessing the database.
This information helps readers to more quickly locate the cited
articles.
Page
numbers are not listed for full text sources unless they are in pdf format
or another format showing page numbers.
Items in each entry (e.g., author, title, etc.) are color-coded to match
the elements needed in each citation. If the work cited does not include
one of the elements (e.g., there is no author listed), leave it out. |
