Lightning Round Guidelines (10 minute sessions)

The deadline for proposal submission is March 3, 2009.

Proposals will be peer-reviewed and notification of acceptance or decline will be made via e-mail by April 10, 2009.

Each presentation must be 10 minutes or under, so we can move on (short, like lightning!) to the next speaker. Avoid too much lead-up (history, background) to your main point. Focus on the main topic.

Bring a handout with a URL, or your business cards, in case attendees wants more information or has questions to ask you. Please bring your Microsoft PowerPoint presentation on a jump drive for speedy and dependable access.

Each Lightning Round presenter is also invited to write a paper for the Proceedings, if desired. Papers should be 1750-3750 words in length.
