Look for articles on a topic:
  • Click in the first FIND box & type a word or phrase
  • Type additional keywords or phrases in the second & third search boxes
  • Click [Start Button]

 

Search by subject:
  • Click the Thesaurus button (left side)
  • Click in the FIND box and type a subject
  • Click [Start Button]
  • Click on a related subject or select the records found

 

Mark to print, e-mail, or save
  • In result list, click the check box next to the number of each article desired
  • Click Get Marked link to view a list of marked records
  • Click PRINT EMAIL SAVE
  • Select the tab for desired option

 

Limit a search to a specific journal:
  • Enter the full title of the journal (e.g., Journal of Bacteriology) in the first FIND box
  • Click the drop down arrow after the as: box and select Journal Name
  • Click [Start Button] to view results

 

Find articles in a specific journal about a specific topic:
EXAMPLE: find articles published in the Journal of Bacteriology about genetic engineering
  • Enter the full title of the journal (e.g., Journal of Bacteriology) in the first FIND box
  • Click the drop down arrow after the as: box and select Journal Name
  • Click in the second FIND box & type genetic engineering
  • Click  [Start Button] to view results
