This is a course that is required for all students, including the students participating in internship programs. This course studies different aspects of British culture by analyzing Britain’s history, culture and its people. Every week a different topic is studied at a British Life and Culture session. Each topic is then followed by a full or half-day field trip in and outside of London. These trips are included in the program fees.
Different field trips include: Parliament, Inns of Court, Bath, Stonehenge, Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Dover, Canterbury, and more.
Internships are available to qualified juniors and seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Different internship opportunities are available based on the student’s field of study, background, and interests.
A 12-hour program sponsored by the MO-London Program and the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Journalism is offered each semester.
Since the host language is English, all courses and day-to-day living are in English.
Fees will vary depending on semester or summer sessions. The fee includes housing and course related field trips. Contact the Study Abroad office for more information.
Students will be placed in student housing (a "Flat"), which is walking distance to the campus and accessible to the Tube.
