Since English is Australia and New Zealand's native language, all courses and the everyday language will also be English.

Depending on the university, students can choose from a residence hall or university-owned apartment or house. Homestay is also available. Accommodation can be prearranged with meals or without meals. If a student chooses to have a meal plan, he or she will receive 14-21 meals per week. If a student does not have a meal plan, shared kitchen facilities will be provided.
Since Australia and New Zealand are located in a different hemisphere, the academic calendar is a little bit different than what we are used to here in the United States. The first semester beings in mid-February and ends in late June.

Spring: February - June
Fall: July - November
Summer break: November - February
