Who Do We Want To Be?
The office of Minority Affairs will be a leading Division II institution in the development of programs for, and delivery of services to, underrepresented students; the embracing and understanding of differences; and the offering of innovative and effective diversity education programs. The retention and graduation rates of our underrepresented students will mirror those of the general student body.
What Are We Doing?
- MOSAIC, Black and Hispanic Achievement Month Activities, Soul Food Dinners, Coffee of the day etc, collaboration with faculty and staff for events (LA Fiesta Latina/Noche De Balle, Women’s History Month, Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration)
How do we measure how we are doing?
- Diversity SI - Count of Events, number attending/participating in each event
- IIC - Keep a count of the number of faculty and staff that attend each event
