International Affairs Mission: Promoting an international environment at Northwest. International students, international faculty and staff, international social events, and internationalized class content improve Northwest's collective international knowledge, involvement, and intercultural competence. This mission supports the IIC Mission which, in turn, supports the university mission of focusing on student success.
What we do: We market Northwest to potential international students, encourage students to attend, produce form I-20 for admitted students, assist with US student visa application, coordinate arrival and orientation, provide immigration regulation advisement, counsel and support students socially, and personally, authorize CPT and OPT, and build international alumni networks.
Who we serve: We have roughly 270 full time international students at Northwest. International Affairs also supports incoming exchange students, ESL students, and J scholars and students. We pride ourselves on providing ethical, knowledgeable, culturally appropriate, and efficient service to all students, staff, faculty and administrators.
Who works here: Dr. Jeffrey Foot, Director & Mrs. Kathleen Baudino, Data Specialist (Part Time)
