Programming

The office coordinates and supports a variety of programs designed to celebrate cultures and achievements, promote multiculturalism, and dispel stereotypes. These programs range from the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration to MOSAIC to Celebration Months. Please click on our Calendar for more information on upcoming events.

Training Diversity

The office of Minority Affairs partners with various campus departments to lead discussions about diversity and assist faculty, staff, and students in becoming more multicultural competent by assisting them to be more aware of the issues facing diverse communities and equipping them with the skills required to respect, appreciate, and  positively  interact with all people groups.

Multicultural Leadership Institute

An annual training program held for current leaders of Multicultural Organizations and new and returning mentors in the MORE program. The two day program includes Peer Education training, diversity sensitivity training, leadership training, and mentor training.
