Job Description |
Attend all staff related meetings and required training, sell advertisements on a weekly basis throughout Maryville and surrounding areas; Maintain a client list and keep in constant contact with advertisers; Make corrections to proofed ads; Adhere to deadlines; Work directly with the Advertising Sales Manager and Advertising Design Manager; Utilize effective oral and written communication when delegating or answering questions; Enforce deadlines, handle advertising problems, use good sales judgment and help choose award entries; Be able to use Macs and Microsoft Word; Have ability to recognize, initiate and complete various tasks; Assist with determination of deadlines and advertising campaigns and promotions; Exhibit professionalism and courtesy, exhibit positive customer relations' skills and pay attention to detail; Work with advertising managers, actively participate in advertising staff meetings and assign various tasks; Have ability to work with diverse on and off campus populations. |

Qualifications |
Successful completion or current enrollment of Introduction to Media Advertising, Principles of Print Advertising, and/or any of the Marketing/Management classes; Must have a current, valid driver's license and a safe driving record. |
