To serve as an ambassador of Northwest, an agent of orientation to new students and their parents, encourage a strong working relationship with the academic and student support offices, and to develop new students' first trimester schedules.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Team Work/Team Leading:
Strong written and verbal skills; Attention to detail, well organized, creative and innovative; Comfortable performing and answering questions; Vast knowledge of Northwest's culture, history and policies; Professional and courteous in nature; Strong leadership abilities; Sufficient academic progress with 2.5 GPA. Preference given to students who have attended Northwest for at least 2 years and those taking summer classes.
Note: Students are not required to take classes to work as a SOAR leader, but may take classes if they choose and fit with work schedule.
40 hours during available dates
May 16 or June 6, 2014; May 16-July 3 (Approximately 30 hours per week in May; 40 hours per week in June, including Saturday June 21st and 28th) Or June 6-July 3 (40 hours per week in June, including Saturday June 21st and 28th).
