Job Description |
To help plant and maintain flower beds and landscapes; Planting annuals, weeding beds, watering beds, remove spent blooms, remove bulb foliage (spring), adding bulbs to beds (fall); Installation and maintenance of landscapes; Mulching, planting, watering of trees and landscapes; May require driving a University vehicle, on or off campus, to run various errands; May require driving a University all-terrain vehicle on campus to perform landscaping duties; Ability to follow oral instructions; Proficient in e-mail; Have ability to recognize, initiate and complete various tasks; Work unsupervised; Professional and dependable; Pay attention to detail; Able to work with diverse on and off campus populations. |

Qualifications |
Dependable, attention to detail; Knowledge of planting (can train); General good attitude; Ability to work independently; Preferred, but not required to have a current, valid driver’s license; If in possession of a current, valid driver’s license, must have a safe driving record and meet all University requirements to drive a University vehicle; Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours during the summer trimester. |
