Job Description

To transmit Bearcat Football and Basketball games to stations comprising the BEARCAT SPORTS NETWORK; Cue stations on the network; Air all underwriting messages as scheduled; Assure quality broadcast of Bearcat Sports; Record sports broadcasts.

• Read special announcements

• Notify stations within the network of game start time
• Ability to speak, read and write in English fluently

• Play features, promos, and public service announcements during breaks
• Make decisions about appropriate sports to play

• Have ability to recognize, initiate and complete various tasks

• Use various pieces of broadcasting equipment
• Record games onto cassette tape for playback during post game highlights

Qualifications

The student filling this position would be in the production studio, engineering Bearcat football or basketball games; Evening and weekend shifts are required; It is strongly recommended that applicants have knowledge of Wire Ready and Audobe Audition systems, and FCC rules.
