Job Description |
To drive University vehicles in conducting official business of Northwest; Operate handicapped-equipped mini bus, 15- passenger van, mini-van or car to designated areas in Maryville; Will occasionally provide shuttle service from Maryville to Kansas City International Airport; Responsibilities include meeting new or returning students at their arrival gate and assisting them with moving luggage from the carousel to the university vehicle; Stops at restaurants will occasionally be required; In Maryville, the driver will also assist passengers out of the vehicle; Occasionally, the driver will assist taking luggage to the passenger's room; Occasionally, the driver will be required to wait for late or delayed flights; Able to follow oral instructions; Complete necessary paperwork; Work unsupervised; Demonstrate dependability and punctuality; Treat passengers with respect and courtesy; Ability to work with diverse student populations. |

Qualifications |
Must have a valid driver's license for a minimum of six months; After initial interview, applicants documentation will be sent for verification acceptance as an approved driver by the insurance company that provides general liability coverage on the shuttle bus for the University; Must have current, valid chauffeur's driver's license and a safe and clean driving record; Must meet all University requirements to drive a University vehicle; Successful completion of drug test; Must have a Class E License. |
