Job Description

To provide an opportunity for students enrolled in French courses to practice the language in a practical manner; Meet with students enrolled in various French courses for two or more one hour sessions per week on a semi-formal basis to practice conversing in French; Additional meetings beyond two hours per week must be approved in advance by the supervisor; Ability to speak, read, and write competently in French; Ability to help limited French speakers with daily problems through communication; Ability to communicate by campus email in a timely matter; Ability to seek advice from appropriate channels; Necessary language skills; Desire to learn about other cultures and people and to grow personally; Desire for service learning opportunities; Ability to work in a team environment; Ability to work positively with a diverse student population; Participation in cultural activities.

Qualifications

Fluency in French; Knowledge of life in the French world.

$7.65
