Job Description

To staff the Missouri Academy Residential Life Office (RLO), provide office assistance to the Missouri Academy in the Administrative Office, and complete projects for various Directors.

Oversee Missouri Academy check-in and sign-out processes; Monitor guest and visitor check-ins; Verify those approved to transport Missouri Academy students; Answer phones; Take messages; Assist callers with questions and route calls; Make photocopies; Run errands; Distribute items; File; Type letters, labels and forms; Create and maintain spreadsheets to track information; Man the Residential Life Office (RLO) during assigned hours.


  • Utilize effective oral and written communications when dealing with students, parents, staff and stakeholders and be able to answer questions regarding the Missouri Academy Program
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to work independently and seek help when needed

Critical/Creative Thinking and Problem Solving:

  • Receive general instructions and complete projects independently
  • Answer questions or refer customers to the appropriate source for information


  • Knowledge of and competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet; PowerPoint

Hours Available

12, up to 20; afternoon, early evening and weekend hours available
