All vacant student employment positions must be posted on the Student Employment Website. A request for a job posting is made by completing the Student Employment Job Posting Request Form and submitting it to the Student Employment Office or by calling the Office with the necessary information. A Student Employment Job Posting Request Form is located on the Student Employment Webpage. All student employment jobs must be posted for a minimum of three days.
The following Microsoft Word Document is a template that can be used for a job posting request. You may fill out the form by clicking the link below and then printing the file or saving it (File --> Save As...).

The following is a job posting request form description. The department name, FOAP number, title of the position and position number are required in order to post the position. This information can be found on the job description. The supervisor's name is the person whom the applicant would contact to apply for the position. Contact information can include the address, phone number and email address. At least two forms of contact are required for a posting. A weekly number of hours must be indicated for the position. If more then one position is available this can also be indicated as such. For example: "20 hours (more than one position available)". The wage rate must be indicated for the position posting. The start date has to be at least four days from the application deadline date and the application deadline date must be at least three days from the day of posting. Additional information may include any additional items you would like to include for the posting such as: "Please attach the department application with the posting" or "Must be available from 9:00 am to noon Tuesday and Thursday".

Each department is responsible for their own application. A sample application is provided in order to assist in creating one that fits the departments needs. The department application must have the department name at the top of the application.

If you want the application posted with the online job posting, return the electronic version of the application to Student Employment, 125 Administration Building.
It is important to remember when conducting interviews to ask appropriate and helpful questions. Sample interview questions are provided by the Office of Human Resources to assist in the interview and selection process.
