Position Summary |
Assist project leaders with research to assess and establish rotational grazing on the university farm. Duties include planting, maintenance and data collection in research plots; machinery operation and maintenance; proper and safe mixing and application of insecticide and herbicides; monitoring insect and weed population for IPM program; establishing sustainable nutrient management programs; operating a broad spectrum of farm equipment; and working with livestock. |

Preferred Qualifications |
Education: Upper division animal science/agriculture science student |

Working Conditions |
Variations in temperature from warm to hot as much of the work is done in the field |
