Position Summary |
The successful candidate will teach courses in the undergraduate elementary education and/or early childhood education programs at the Northwest Missouri State University’s off-site location on the campus of North Central Missouri College (NCMC) in Trenton, Missouri. This position will serve as liaison with the Northwest Coordinator (also on-site at the North Central campus) to support student/transfer advisement. Summer teaching opportunities are likely. |

Minimum Qualifications |
Education: Master's degree in curriculum & instruction, elementary education or a related field |

Preferred Qualifications |
Education: Doctorate (ABD) in curriculum & instruction, elementary education or related field |

Northwest Missouri State University is an NCA-NCATE accredited, fully electronic campus in Maryville, Missouri. This Midwest community of 11,000 is approximately 100 miles from Omaha, Nebraska; Des Moines, Iowa; and Kansas City, Missouri. Northwest has a total enrollment of approximately 7,000 students. Trenton, Missouri, where this position is assigned is located in rural north central Missouri north of Chillicothe, Missouri, population approximately 6,500, and a student population at NCMC of approximately 1,500. NCMC is HCC accredited and approved by the Missouri Department of Higher Education. |
