Position Summary |
Tenure track Assistant Professor to teach courses in one or more of the following areas: Public Relations, Integrated Marketing Communication, Communication Theory or Rhetoric. Duties will include advising students, participation in departmental and university governance, working with student organizations and teaching one or more sections of the university's general education hybrid communication course. |

Minimum Qualifications |
Education: Terminal degree in communication or closely related field |

Preferred Qualifications |
Professional experience outside of classroom. Development and maintenance of a professional profile is expected. Northwest is committed to the development of technological applications and other innovative approaches to instruction. Experience in, or willingness to develop web-based or web-enhanced instructional delivery modes is preferred. We seek energetic individuals committed to the shared vision of a multi-disciplinary department who will make significant and ongoing contribution to our dynamic and progressive programs. |
