Position Summary |
Teach primarily general chemistry lecture and labs, and a course Inorganic and lab. Coordinate general chemistry labs. May also develop and teach new course(s) related to our new Interdisciplinary Nanoscience degree. |

Education: Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry or related field (must be completed by August 1, 2009) |

Department |
The Chemistry and Physics Department, housed in the recently renovated Garrett-Strong Science Building, has 11 full-time faculty members and offers a number of BA/BS degrees in Chemistry, Physics and Unified Science and a MS degree in Science Education. The department will soon offer BS degrees in Nanoscale Science in the new state-of-the-art building, The Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE). CIE will house state-of-the-art equipment such as XRD, XRF, TGA, FE-SEM/EDX, AFM, Confocal microscope, particle size analyzer, obtained through State and Federal fundings. |
