Be Well

Be Well is a program about what people CAN DO, not a program about what they SHOULD DO! We believe people are born into the world with an innate ability and desire to "be well." It is not our purpose to make people feel guilty about how much they weigh, the foods they eat or how much they do or do not exercise. We are here to accept everyone and support them in their effort to learn more about themselves and help them become aware of what wellness means. If you are interested in discovering more about your wellness, join the Be Well team and participate in the activities that interest you.

Mission Statement

The mission of Be Well is to provide a program available to all University employees which will foster improvement of the total health and well-being of each person. This comprehensive program promotes the social, physical, spiritual and emotional dimensions of health with the singular goal of enhancing each individual's "quality of life."

Participation is voluntary, and confidentiality will be ensured at all times. Something for each person and a commitment to excellence are underlying guidelines in program development.
