To be eligible for benefits, employees must be hired in a permanent position of at least nine months and an FTE appointment of .75 or higher.
Benefit coverage is effective the first of the month following the hire date and employees have an initial enrollment period (30 days) to enroll in insurance plans.
Open Enrollment for all insurance plans is held annually November-December with an effective date of January 1st.
