Position

Head Women's Volleyball Coach, Athletics

Employment Status

Exempt, 10-month position renewed annually, January - December

Position Summary

Serve as a Head Women's Volleyball Coach and as an Instructor in HPERD

Essential Functions

  1. Responsible for all aspects of the women's volleyball program including on the field coaching
  2. Responsible for the recruitment of all team members
  3. Administers all aspects of the volleyball program including scholarship allocation, budget management, team transportation, conditioning and academic monitoring
  4. Supervises and directs assistant coaches
  5. Assists the athletic director with preparation of budget and scheduling
  6. Engages in fund raising activities as assigned
  7. Teaches courses in HPERD as assigned
  8. Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: Coaching on the collegiate level
Skills: Technical skills in the coaching of volleyball

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Master's degree
Experience: Head coaching experience
Skills: Expert skills in the coaching of volleyball

Date Available

January 4, 2010 (or a date to be arranged with candidate)
