Gerontology is an interdisciplinary minor that provides specific coursework and experiences for working with older adults. The interdisciplinary coursework includes courses from the departments of Behavioral Sciences and Health and Human Services. This minor is designed for a variety of undergraduate majors whose professional preparation may require them to provide programs and services for the older adult population. Courses from this minor also provide excellent professional development opportunities for individuals currently employed in services to the aging.
