When to Apply

The application deadline is February 14, but applications will be accepted until all the available "slots" are filled.

Applicants should send a signed copy of the first 2 pages only of the Federal 2012 tax form now. We will also need to get a signed copy of the first 2 pages only of the Federal 2013 tax form when it is available. This way we will have "current" information on file. DO NOT DELAY sending your application because you are waiting for this year's taxes to be figured. Send the 2012 taxes and your application immediately.

How to Apply

Fill in the student application online, print it off, sign it, have a parent/guardian sign it and send it to the UBMS Center:

Direct your Math Teacher, Science Teacher, and School Counselor for a Recommendation (fill it out online, print it off, sign it and send it to the UBMS Center):

You may also download and print the full UBMS application online or obtain the application from your High School Counselor (or Math or Science teacher). Mail the completed application* to the UBMS Center.

This application must be completed in its entirety for us to fully consider you for participation in the Upward Bound Math and Science program. We need all of the requested data in order to assess your academic eligibility and consider all applications in a fair and consistent manner. All of the information required to complete the application is easily obtained.

Orientation

Selected students and parents will be invited to campus for orientation on Saturday, April 12, 2014. Students will be interviewed and receive additional information. Final selection of participants will follow orientation.
