Private Lessons

Private lessons for instrumentalists, vocalist and pianists are available during your week at camp for a small fee of $10.00 per 30-minute lesson. This fee is in addition to the camp tuition cost. Lessons will be instructed by camp faculty members of the Summer Music Camp.

Campers may take up to four lessons during the week; we recommend that a camper take no more than two lessons per area of study. Lessons will be scheduled pending ensemble placement after auditions and will conflict with the fewest number of other music camp activities. 

This can be a very worthwhile activity for your musical growth. In order to make the lesson more valuable and educational, you are asked to bring prepared music. This can include a solo or study book.

Students will have the option to late register for private lessons at the Monday Check-In. Please remit all checks payable to: Northwest Missouri State University (Memo: lessons) @ $10.00 per lesson.
