Flute Camp: Eldred Spell Master Class

 

Enjoy six days of flute classes, recitals, presentations, repair workshops, and flute ensemble music making in a friendly atmosphere on the beautiful "Arboretum” campus of Northwest Missouri State University. This experience is oriented to high school through adult players, for those who want the intensive learning of a residential class without a high-pressure environment. College credit is available to students. In-service or Professional Development credit is available to teachers. Master classes, Flute History presentations, Acoustics, and Repair classes will be taught by Dr. Eldred Spell, an internationally-known recitalist and clinician. Private lessons will be available with Dr. Rebecca Dunnell, flute professor at Northwest Missouri State University. Flute ensembles will be directed by Townes Osborn Miller, director of the Kansas City Flute Choir.
