Cheryl Cornell, Adjunct Instructor of Strings, has taught at Northwest for more than 20 years. She holds a BFA in viola performance from Pomona College and a MS in Music Therapy from the University of Kansas, and is registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas. She travels nationally as a clinician, consultant, and adjudicator in both traditional and Suzuki String Education. She frequently presents workshops on teaching music to children with special needs, and on the management of performance anxiety; she is the author of a number of articles on the former topic.
