Experience Background:
Assistant Professor in the Health Physical Education Recreation and Dance (HPERD) Department at Northwest Missouri State University, has worked in a range of park & recreation and social service settings including clinical, community based, and wilderness settings. With an extensive background in lifespan development, her interests are the social context of recreation activities, volunteerism, and collaborative partnerships. She has presented both nationally and internationally and has publications in World Leisure Journal, Mental Retardation, and Schole. She holds degrees from Indiana University and the University of Kentucky.
