Susan Myllykangas

Dr. Myllykangas has 22 years of experience and her primary teaching duties are in the area of Therapeutic Recreation. She has a Master's Degree in Gerontology. Her research interests include: the meaning of leisure, older women, caregivers, HIV/AIDS, and closure at the end of life. With extensive online pedagogy she is developing a distance education Master's Degree for the Recreation Department. This is her 1st year at Northwest.

Educational Background: Indiana University and the University of Northern Colorado
