Where?

Maryville, Missouri owns and operates Mozingo Lake which includes camp grounds, fishing sites, a beach, a loading ramp for boaters, cozy cabins to stay in, and much more.There is a 320 acre piece of land, right on the lake that is owned by Northwest Missouri State University. It is known as MOERA (Mozingo Outdoor Education Recreation Area).

Why?

Many come to MOERA to experience the beauty of the land and the water; many of these people really enjoy being outdoors. Others come wanting to work in order to engage the skills of what it takes to be involved in developing teamwork activities. If you are a part of a company, school, youth group, athletic team, or any other group seeking a challenge, MOERA is a good experience to have. Here we challenge and test your skills of leadership and teamwork. It is important to bring your team together and MOERA helps you to improve your team work by engaging you in enjoyable group activities.
