Dr. Brandon-Falcone received her Ph.D. in American Studies from Saint Louis University in 1990. She is currently an Associate Professor, where she teaches courses in intellectual, colonial, modern, and religious history, as well as the freshman level survey course in American history.

She has published articles and book chapters in women's history, colonial history, and religious history. Her most recent work American Dreams, American Realities is a book of readings for thinking critically about history, which she co-edited with her colleagues Dr. Richard Frucht and Mr. Matt Johnson. She has been involved for the past five years in developing computer applications for the classroom, and is also interested in the revision of historical analysis through popular film.

She is married to Paul, a professor of Art and Graphic Design at Northwest, has two children, one dog, two cats, and raises Katahdin sheep in her spare time. She enjoys bird watching, music, traveling, reading and hanging out with family.
