Lyle Stevens is an instructor at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa, teaching American National Government, U.S. History to 1877, U.S. History Since 1877, Minority Group relations, and American State and Local Government (as an internet course). Lyle also teaches as an adjunct for Buena Vista University Fort Dodge Center, teaching all the American History courses (American Civil War, Early American Republic, and courses Lyle has designed on Andrew Jackson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Harry Truman).
Tausha Caton Taylor (Criminal Justice 1997) earned a MS in Counseling from Northwest in 2005 and is currently a senior counselor with Missouri Vocational Rehabilitation in St Joseph.
Lurinda Turner (economic development, 1999) has joined the Northwest faculty as an instructor in agriculture.
Jered Weber (public administration, 2004) has accepted a position as Sioux County Assistant Prosecutor in Orange City IA.

Michelle Cooney Staebell (93) is working for an airplane accident reconstruction company in the St Louis area, and is actively involved as a performer in a Christian music group.
Matt Darrah (90) is in the admissions department at Clarinda Academy - he also coaches wrestling.
Andrew Dufour (08) has been working at a firm leasing apartments in Lawrence since his graduation in December - next fall he will be a 1 st year law student at Kansas University.
Christopher Dunn (02) has left Missouri politics for now and is teaching history and political science courses at Linn State Technical College. He has also started an MPA program at Lincoln University.
Sara Gann (83) is now working for the International Food & Commercial Workers in Washington DC and is also actively involved in urban forestry.

Christopher Hughes (83) and Doug Whitaker (97) returned to campus this spring and along with Mark Corson from our geography department presented an outstanding forum on the War in Iraq. Chris is currently the Pentagon's liaison with the House of Representative, and he has written a book on Iraq. Doug is currently working with Immigration & Naturalization in Omaha.
