Welcome to Geology/Geography Club!

Geo Club is an organization on the Northwest campus that is dedicated to providing academic and social activities to those interested in the sciences of Geology and Geography. The club sponsors various activities which include:

  1. Field Trips to geologically and geographically important areas in the United States
  2. Bowling and Movie Nights to the Bearcat Bowling Alley and The Hangar
  3. Trips to attend sporting events in Kansas City, like the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs
  4. Fundraising sales that sell rocks, books, and more to students and staff on the Northwest campus
  5. End of year picnic to celebrate everything that has occurred in the department throughout the school year
  6. Trips to the Kansas City Gem and Mineral Show
  7. Setting up educational display cases at the KC Gem and Mineral Show, at the B.D. Owens Library, and in the Department of Geology and Geography
