Admissions Office
The Admission Office is located on the second floor of the Administration Building. Questions concerning transfer of credit from other institutions, residency determination, admission procedures and standards, and evaluation of transcripts are to be directed to this office.
Cashiering Office
Payment of fees is conducted at the Cashiering Office, which is located on the first floor of the Administration Building. Inquiries concerning student financial accounts, installments, refunds and automatic applications of financial assistance should be directed to this office.
Check Cashing
Students may cash checks at the Student Services Center on the first floor of the Administration Building, or at the University Bookstore, located on the second floor of the J.W. Jones Student Union. Some local banks maintain automated teller machines on campus, located on the first and second floors of the Student Union.
Student Wellness Services
The Student Wellness Center provides health care for students. A new facility is located on the west side of campus.
Copy Machines
Card-and coin-operated photocopying machines are located in the Owens Library for student use. The Family and Consumer Sciences copy machine is not available to students.
B.D.Owens Library
The Library is located between the Administration Building and the high-rise residence halls. State-of-the-art resources include the On-line Public Access Catalog (also available on computer terminals in residence hall rooms), an Academic Computing Laboratory, and interlibrary loan services. Students may receive assistance in doing library research by scheduling an appointment with an information librarian.
Counseling
The Counseling Center is located in Wells Hall, Counseling and testing services are available to students of the University.
Mail Center
The University Mail Center is located at the west end of the first floor of the Thompson-Ringold Building. Services include purchase of stamps and mailing of letters and packages.
Registrar
The Registrar's Office is located on the second floor of the Administration Building. Inquiries concerning registration, academic standards, grade records, teacher certification, adding and dropping classes, change of address, and senior graduation checks should be directed to the Registrar's Office.
Student Services Center
Located on the first floor of the Administration Building, the Student Services Center provides a wide variety of student information and forms. Services include check cashing, distribution of refund and payroll checks, stamps, parking permits, FAX service, and ticket sales.
University Career Services
The Office of Career Services is located on the first floor of the Administration Building. Students completing degree or certification programs are encouraged to register with Career Services, and complete a file, which may be used in making applications for employment opportunities
