Bulletin Boards
The departmental bulletin board is located in the main hall just outside the entrance to the lobby. The bulletin board is used to post important dates, deadlines, notices of meetings, job opportunities, etc.
Each organization (AAFCS, KONu) has a bulletin board to post important dates and meeting times for the membership.
All items posted in the department must be approved by the Family and Consumer Sciences secretary; this includes AAFCS, KONu and NSDA posters.
Spotlight Board
When Family and Consumer Sciences students, alumni or faculty are featured in the press, these items are posted on a small board located outside the entrance to the lobby. Be sure to check the Spotlight board to see who's been "in the news."
Keep in Touch!
Students can help maintain good interdepartmental communication by making sure the Family and Consumer Sciences offices has your current "notebook form" on file. This form (which each student fills out at pre-registration) includes a record of your semester schedule, local address and telephone number, and is a valuable tool when we need to send you mail or "look you up." Please stop in the office to give us updates when you move or change your schedule.
