Northwest Missouri State University

The Lifesaver

Academic Integrity

The FCS Department abides by the Academic Dishonesty policy as stated on pages 42-43 in the 2006-08 Undergraduate Academic Catalog. Integrity in both coursework and professional work is of utmost importance and all incidents of dishonesty will result in a formal charge.

In Family and Consumer Sciences the penalty for the first instance of academic dishonesty will be determined by the instructor.  All instances of dishonesty will be reported through the proper channels, according to policy, up to the Provost.  A second offense reported to the Provost results in immediate dismissal from the university.
