The graduate program in English is designed to suit a variety of student needs. We serve students who hope to pursue further studies beyond the Master’s degree, current and future teachers and all students who, having completed an undergraduate degree, want more intellectual and creative challenges. We welcome students to the program who seek thoughtful discussions about books and writing, as well as those who seek an opportunity to be part of a vibrant and diverse intellectual community.
We offer the Master of Arts and the Master of Science in English Education. One of our M.S. Ed. options allows a student to work simultaneously on a master's degree and Missouri teacher certification.
