Responsibilities included providing information and assisting student in entering the College of Education. Monitoring processes and criteria required to progress through the College of Education to certification. Providing reports of individual candidate and aggregated data to decision making bodies of the college of education was another responsibility of this position.
Assistant Principal, Central High School, St. Joseph School District, St. Joseph, Missouri (1981-2000). Responsible for instructional leadership, supervising teachers, staff and 9-12 students. Provided leadership for staff development, 504 Coordinator, and leader for two North Central Visits. Participated in school improvement initiatives, wrote grants and provided direction for curriculum development and other duties as assigned.
Principal, Fillmore C-I Junior and High School, Fillmore, Missouri (1975-1981). Responsibilities included leadership in policy development, compliance with the law, curriculum development and instructional assessment. Prepared agendas and budget for board of education meetings. Provided accreditation leadership in meeting state requirements, and supervising teachers, staff and 7-12 students. Lead school improvement initiatives, wrote grants and other duties as assigned.
