The Good Doctor

Neil Simon meets Anton Chekhov in “The Good Doctor.” Simon’s Broadway hit follows Russian playwright Anton Chekhov through a series of vignettes featuring some of his most famous works.  Along the way, we find a blend of humor, tenderness, and great fun.

Fugue

Ophelia struggles with her emotions regarding her fiancé Noah and a new found flame named Robin, all the while having to decipher the fugue of voices going on inside her head. This student-written play combines contemporary dialogue and poetry.

An Evening of Ives
(English Made Simple, Sure Thing Variations on the Death of Trotsky and The Universal Language)

English Made Simple and Sure Thing by David Ives
In these two contemporary comedies, a young man and woman must overcome the obstacles of language and dating to find true love.
Variations on the Death of Trotsky and The Universal Language by David Ives
The Universal Language brings together Dawn and Don in a lesson on language and love while Variations on the Death of Trotsky shows us the Russian revolutionary on the day of his death, trying to cope with the mountain-climber's axe he's discovered in his head.

Ride

Through the joys and through the pains, a young family struggles to stay together through this roller coaster ride of life. Through music and movement, Ride provides a Christian perspective on the trials we all face and the pivotal choices we make.

Night of the Living Dead

The horror classic comes to Theatre Northwest!  A satellite probe full of radiation returns to earth, turning the bodies of the recently deceased into walking ghouls that crave only the flesh of the living. Watch as seven people trapped in a farmhouse try to survive the dead and each other. 

Supergirls! Tales of Life, Love, and Captain Nebraska

Main Stage Show ($8)

It’s not easy being a supergirl - particularly in the middle of Nebraska. Four women share the trials and tribulations of love and superbattles on the Midwestern plains.

Alice in Wonderland

Music Man

This musical theatre classic  follows fast-talking traveling salesman/con-man Harold Hill, who, in order to sell band instruments, convinces the citizens of River City, Iowa that he can teach their children to play in a superb marching band.  His scheme is complicated when he falls for the local librarian, Marian.   Chaos ensues as Hill's credentials are challenged and he must prove himself to the citizens of River City and his newfound love. 

Marriage is Murder

In this fast-paced comedy, Paul and Polly Butler haven’t seen each other since their divorce 18 months ago.  When Polly suddenly shows up on Paul’s doorstep with the intention of writing a murder mystery with her ex, a madcap adventure through deadly martinis, heart attacks, bodies in trunks, and a very real murder case ensues.

The Maids

Two maids develop a plan to destroy their employer through deceit and false accusations. When their plot goes awry and they face the danger of discovery, the two women are led down even darker paths.

Tartuffe

Moliere's classic comedy satirizes religious hypocrisy, blind piety, and deceit as Tartuffe worms his way into the once ordered household of the merchant Orgon.  Under the guise of religious devotion, Tartuffe plots and schemes to secure wealth, women, and the downfall of Orgon and his family.

Reservations

Advance reservations may be made by calling 660.562.1321.  Advance Reservations are not available for Lab Series productions.  Tickets are available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.  All seats are general admission.  Half-price group (12 or more) reservations are also available for The Good Doctor, Supergirls!, The Music Man, and Tartuffe, and may be made by contacting 660.562.1321 at least one week prior to opening.
