Opening a Bank Account
International students can easily open a new bank account thanks to the partnership between US Bank and Northwest Missouri State University. In order to open an account, the individual must meet with bank officials in person. US Bank requires a few documents before opening an account:
- passport
- a valid visa
- I-94 card
- W-8 form (you can get this after your orientation)
- I-20 form
US Bank accepts the following forms of depositing from international students:
- cash
- direct deposit
- traveler's check (cheque)
- personal check (cheque)
