The Department of Chemistry, Physics and Science Education awards scholarships to students based on a number of criteria. Students must submit an application to be eligible to receive any scholarships. There are two times during the year when students will be asked to submit their application. The first is during the Fall trimester, around the week after Thanksgiving break, and the scholarships are awarded during the following Spring trimester. The other time to submit an application is during the Spring trimester around the first week of February, and the scholarships are awarded during the following Fall trimester. To be eligible for some scholarships (see below), the Gray exam must be taken by the student, usually during the morning on the second Saturday in February. Application forms and information can be obtained from Lisa Crater in Garrett-Strong 2610.
