Our department encourages students to seek internship opportunities while pursuing a degree. Internships offer valuable insights helping tie work experiences with academic courses. Such hands-on experiences are invaluable to your present education and an excellent way to get a "foot in the door" with a particular company, offering the potential for long term relationships upon graduation. Internship experiences are a way to gain a competitive advantage over peers when seeking a job. When you encounter the interview question, "So now that you have your degree, what experience do you have?", students with an internship experience have a ready-made reply. Internships are available to students in all areas of business. For information on internship possibilities, contact the department secretary, Alisa Meyer by visiting Colden Hall 2115 or calling (660) 562-1835 or call the Office of Career Services at (660) 562-1250.
