Biography
Dr. McLaughlin's current teaching responsibilities include 53-311 Business Law I and 53-320 Insurance and Risk. He is also the Chair of the Department. His academic interests are to share the excitement of the law with his business law students and to help finance students understand from both the financial and consumer standpoint the values of insurance. His outside interests are his family, the Bearcats, the Spoofhounds, the CHIEFS, fishing, fellowship, and GOLF.
Dr. McLaughlin's advice to students is that "happiness is not getting what you want, but wanting what you have."
Joined faculty of Northwest in 1978.
