Cody Melton Teaches New Students

Student Employee of the Year 2009

Cody Melton was honored with Student Employee of the Year at Northwest's Student Employee Recognition Ceremony in April 2009.

Employed as a Computer Lab Consultant by the Information Technology department's Client Computing Team, Melton provides in-person support to students, faculty and staff while assisting users with software issues and troubleshooting basic hardware problems in the Client Computing-Information Technology public "general-purpose" computing labs in Owens Library.

As a trusted member of the Client Computing student employee team, Melton was also given the responsibility of being a Help Desk representative, assisting users on the telephone with hardware and software problems.

Melton is also a Client Computing PERT (Peer Educator in Residence for Technology), which is a scholarship program in cooperation with Residential Life.
